I am working on a GUI for my fractal generating software, heavily inspired by Apophysis.
It already supports:
* 3D Variations, so there is no need for strange hacks.
* Unlimited number of XForms, and unlimited number of variations in each XForm.
** Same Variation can be used many times in an XForm, with different parameters.
* Xaos
* Post-Transform
** Multiple XForms can be used in the post-transform.
** Post-transform Depth - number of times to apply the post-transform.
The usual settings like:
* Vibrancy
* Gamma
* Filter Radius
The program is written in Java, so it is much easier to create new Variations for the program, compared to Apophysis. It also runs on Linux, Windows, and every platform supporting the Sun JVM.
I am currently working with the following features, that I have only partly implemented:
* GUI, that is, an interface.
* Scripting capabilities, in JavaScript.
* Support for Apophysis file format.
If you have any suggestions on what you are missing in Apophysis, or would like to be different,
tell me!
